Salt Lake City, Utah, May 14, 2024 – Salt Lake Behavioral Health (SLBH), a psychiatric hospital and military mental health treatment center, proudly announces the promotion of Dustin Gallegos to Chief Executive Officer. With a long-standing career in psychiatric healthcare administration at SLBH and a commitment to patient-centered care, Gallegos brings a wealth of hands-on experience and strategic vision to SLBH. He has previously served in key leadership roles including most recently as Director of Military Operations and Chief Operating Officer at SLBH, where he implemented strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency. In collaboration with the military program managers and dedicated staff, Gallegos led the expansion of the hospital’s military trauma program from an average of 10 patients to now nearly 60, the majority of the hospital’s daily census.

Gallegos has a proven record of driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of compassion and empathy. With a deep understanding of the unique challenges facing the industry’s operations, he is poised to guide SLBH to new heights of clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
