Patient Testimonial

Hear from one of our patients who experienced an inpatient stay.

Life has its ups and downs, and I found myself a few months ago, lying, sneaking and drinking. My family and I talked and chose SLBH. I decided at that point if I was going to give a month of my time, I better give it 100% of my effort. I knew if I hadn’t, I would never be happy with myself or be able to look at my family.

After going through the check-in process, I was escorted upstairs where I met 15 men and women who were patients just like me. I was also introduced to what I found out would be an awesome staff that worked 24/7 to make sure that I had everything I needed to be successful. The kitchen staff was always helpful and were eager to please us. The doctors and the staff were excellent. The building was very comfortable and very clean. We all became family as some transitioned in and out when their 30 days were up.

I found this experience to be very rewarding and educational. This program helped me immensely to alleviate the alcohol problem that I was experiencing. I look forward to taking what I’ve learned from these professionals for the rest of my life.
