Salt Lake Behavioral Health provides inpatient and outpatient services for adolescents age 12 to 17, adults 18 years and older as well as older adults struggling with psychiatric and behavioral health issues, substance use disorders, as well as dual diagnosis – a co-occurring disorder involving both behavioral health and substance use. In addition, Salt Lake is the only Patriot Support System hospital with separate male and female units and programming.
We believe in patient-focused compassionate care through individualized treatment. Attending psychiatrists and the behavioral health treatment team determine and define unique approaches for helping patients overcome personal problems and provide support in the journey to return to healthy daily living. An aftercare plan outlines guidelines for patients to follow in order to maintain progress made in treatment.
