Our program is a 30-day inpatient treatment program, specializing in trauma and addiction. Our program has separate male and female units, and patients must be either active duty service members (including guard and reserve) or veterans. Our dedicated program staff tailors individualized treatment plans around each patient’s unique mental health needs. In our addiction medicine program, we focus on treating the root cause of the substance abuse, whether that be trauma, environmental factors or underlying mental health issues.
The majority of the patients in our female-only military addiction program are active-duty service members. Our program requires a referral from a military treatment facility (MTF) or VA, or the mental health clinic at a military installation or unit. If you have questions about requesting a referral from your installation, or if you are a provider and have questions about submitting or authorizing a referral, just give us a call at 801-850-1982.
Members of the National Guard and Reserve are eligible for our addiction program as well. Our program requires a referral from the mental health clinic at a military installation or unit, and in the case of National Guard and Reserve, the service member must be put on active-duty orders for the length of the program in order to receive treatment. This is usually facilitated as part of the treatment referral process. If you have questions about requesting a referral from your unit or mental health provider, give us a call at 801-850-1982.
We also accept veterans into our addiction recovery program for women. Our program requires a referral from a VA. If you have questions about requesting a referral from your local VA, or if you are a provider and have questions about submitting or authorizing a referral, just give us a call at 801-850-1982.
Our unique women’s addiction program for veterans features a wide range of therapy and treatment modalities, including individual therapy with licensed therapists, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), recreation therapy, maladaptive coping strategies groups, expressive therapy, yoga, art therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), music therapy and pet therapy.
Female veterans and service members who have a substance use disorder are eligible for the program. This includes active-duty service members of all branches, National Guard, Reserve and veterans. We also accept service members who have other additional mental health diagnoses and/or issues.
The admissions process is designed to be simple and fast for those needing immediate services, and usually there is no wait list for our program. The referring provider can complete a referral in four simple steps by doing the following:
Referring mental health providers will be provided weekly treatment updates from the care coordination team with progress in treatment, medications and assignments completed.
